By A Correspondent- Suspected members of marauding machete gangs have been arrested in Mt Darwin.

Pictures of the men in handcuffs who are suspected to be part of a gang of “MaShurugwi”, the general name for violent illegal gold panners who have been accused of acts of terrorism across the country are doing the rounds on social media.

Last week, a yet to be identified gang of MaShurugwi murdered a police officer leaving another one nursing serious injuries.
