Our attention has been drawn to the use of a wrong picture to accompany a story about one of our local footballers who was spotted playing social soccer during the Coronavirus Lockdown.

We wish to retract and apologise for the wrong use of the image of Edmore Chirambadare in our news article on the 11th of May entitled “Professional Footballer Spotted Playing Social Soccer In Budiriro During Lockdown.”

We inadvertently used his image instead of the image of Michelle Katsvairo of Highlanders Football Club in our story.

We regret the inadvertent error and apologise to Chirambadare, his fans and his club for any inconvenience the use of his image may have caused him.
